Once you find out wich card you have, you can dl the approriate drivers for them from the manufacturers website.Topaz Studio 2 provides the most creative fun you can have editing digital images for under $100, hands down. Now you have the system details, click on the monitor tab to see the details of your monitor and graphicscard. You can find the information in device manager. You can use those drivers on you HP machine as well. Just find out the maker and model, useally Nvidia or AMD(Radeon). My decision - walk away from what I also think is an overpriced plug in that I would only use occasionally. At least CO gives users the option of turning off use of OpenCL. At the same time, I can run Capture One 7 & 8 with the card with their OpenCL running. And it prevents me from even trying the demo.

No advice, but I have the same issue with a very good HP Win7 pc that is even younger - I cannot update the video card.

It seems Topaz is blaming all the issues with Impressions on outdated video drivers.

I like the software but don't know if I can live with it being so slow. HP does not appear to have an update for it.

My understanding is that this video card is proprietary to HP and the AMD Catalyst driver update will not work. Unfortunately I cannot find an updated driver for this video card. Topaz told me that the slowness is due to an outdated video driver. I am using it as a plug-in in PS CS6 on an HP Win7 machine with an AMD RADEON HD 7570 video card with OpenGL. Seems to do what it is supposed to do but it is very slow at loading presets when an image is opened and is slow for show changes.
